After more years than he cares to remember, Ian Rutledge finally left Hurst House this summer (although he's staying on as part of the committee). We tried to give him a good send off, as you can see from the photos below. He was particularly taken with the special belly-dance routine and didn't quite know where to look!

Many old friends turned up and there was more than the odd tear shed. The WEA has been blessed with long-standing workers like Ian and the staff appreciate his unswerving loyalty to them through thick and thin. Things will never be quite the same without him.
