Would you like to feel confident to walk in some of the wilder parts of the Peak District? It's easier than you might think. This course will teach you the basics of how to find your way around the hills using map and compass and GPS systems. There will be fieldtrips to local open countryside where the ability to walk a few miles across rough country is required. (Three evening indoor sessions plus two 3 hour Saturday field trips on 16 & 30 Oct)
