Compared to painters and sculptors, illustrators have tended to remain unsung artisans. From its origins in medieval illumination, the art of the illustrator has blossomed to enrich our lives from childhood onwards. Learn about great illustrators, past and present and rediscover childhood books. Bring your own favourite illustrated books to the first meeting and throughout the course.
