This course continues the study of the local and industrial history and landscape of North Derbyshire. We focus mainly on the ancient hundreds of Scarsdale (which includes Chesterfield) and High Peak with new topics and occasional revisits each term. Approximately half the sessions are indoor and half on field trips. Aimed at learners with some experience in local, industrial and landscape history, both continuing learners and experienced newcomers are welcome.
